• Ruckman Presentation (October 23) Gail Zasowski, University of Utah -- Stars, Galaxies, and the History of the Universe:Two Decades (and Counting!) of Exploration with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.
• Saturday Workshop (October 24) Joint Astronomy Education Workshop and Fall Meeting of the Nebraska Chapter of the American Association of Physics Teachers. There are two plenaries and two interactive sessions scheduled (abstracts are available here). The event is open to all high school and college teachers of physics and astronomy, registration information is available on the flyer.
