Travel Arrangements Once You've Reached Nebraska

Travel from the Lincoln Airport

The Lincoln Airport (LNK) is roughly 4 miles from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Campus.

• The Embassy Suites – runs a regular (5 am until midnight) shuttle service to and from the airport for its guests. When you arrive at the airport, simply call the Embassy Suites (402)474-1111 for pickup and they should be there in about 10 minutes.
• Knoll Residential Center – is located at the intersection of 17th street and R street. Taking a cab from the airport is one option.

We are presently exploring additional options for getting attendees from the airport to the residence hall.

Omaha to Lincoln Transportation

Omaha is approximately 60 miles from Lincoln and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Campus.

OMALINK (402) 475-5465 provides transportation from the Omaha airport to the UNL Student Union (within 2 blocks of the Embassy Suites and the Knoll Residential Center). You are strongly encouraged to make reservations with OMALINK several days in advance. Reserving a round trip ticket is usually cheaper.

Whether you are solely a UATP attendee who happened to fly into Omaha or a UATP/AAPT attendee who flew into either Omaha or Lincoln, OMALINK is your best bet (short of renting a car) for getting back and forth between Lincoln to Omaha.
