Ranking Task: Electromagnetic Spectrum

This ranking task presents a conceptualization of the electromagnetic spectrum and asks the student to rank the figures on wavelength, energy, or frequency in either ascending or descending order. The images of the spectrum are drawn so that they link together in a smooth diagram and force the student to understand the concepts rather than memorizing numbers.
