Ranking Task: Times of the Day (Hard)

This ranking task presents a representation of the Earth with an observer at some point on the Earth's surface. For each, the sun is being shown to shine from the "left" of the figure. Students are asked to rank the figures beginning at some randomly chosen time of the day in either chronological or reverse chronological order, based on the rotation of the Earth. The rotation of the Earth can be determined by examining the point of view towards the figure. Based on the land masses, the view is from above the North Pole, so the Earth will rotate counter-clockwise.
